We use the open sourced Content Management System (CMS) WordPress, to create the website. On the server the CMS uses the PHP scripting language to function, as well as the MySQL database to provide dynamically the content and any other data that may needed.
On the user's device the CMS uses JQuery JavaScript framework to provide the user’s interaction.
The site's pages are built based on the HTML 5 and CCS 3 standards, and the pages have been validated successfully. We use the Twitter's Bootstrap v.4.4 framework for the scaffolding and the styling.
We use all the above technologies to create a responsive
page layout with responsive images, for the best experience on each device, being smartphone, tablet, computer or TV. Similarly, we use different image resolutions for Retina screens.
The communication between you (the user) and the website, is secured using the latest standards of cryptographic protocols. We employee a 2048 Bits Certificate to authenticate our website, and our server uses the latest versions of HTTPS over TLS/SSL data transports.
To navigate around the site we use a navigation bar at the top of the page. You don't have to scroll up towards to the 'navbar', it always stays inside the viewing pane. The 'navbar' also includes dropdown menus with links to more pages.
The website has been tested on all of the current Windows versions, 7, 8 & 10, on Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) & later and on latest Linux. Furthermore, has been tested on smartphones with Android and iOS.
